TRAINING AND ASSESSMENT GUIDELINE
In the downloads below, you will see our Training and Licencing Information Document. This detailed document provides a lot of information about the training and assessment for both HRW licences and Unattended boiler training. This should answer many of your questions.
Students undertaking HRW licence assessment are no longer required to provide a logbook. We think, however, that logbooks are a useful tool to track your practical skills, and to prove competency and confidence in your skills to your assessor. Download the Log Book here.
WHEN CAN I UNDERTAKE HIGH RISK WORK
A person, over 18 years of age, can undertake HRW under supervision from a licensed operator when they are enrolled in training with a training organisation – us; or they have an appropriate HRW licence
Steam Training’s Policies and Procedures can be found here, however it is important to note that we provide our High Risk Work Licence Training in partnership with Go-Train Industry Pty Ltd RTO 20812, whose policies and procedures can be found here.
We strive to keep the costs as low as possible at all times, and the larger the group undertaking training and assessment, then the lower the cost. Don’t forget to allow for any travel and accommodation costs that may be incurred. These will be passed on to you.
To obtain a written estimate of charges for training and assessment, please contact us.
Unless you or your company have a trading account with us, then all training and assessment MUST be paid for in advance prior to date of training. No Exceptions.
Each student undertaking a HRW licence assessment must provide us with a Unique Student Identifier number (USI). These are obtained from : www.usi.gov.au
